Preserving its tradition as "Akayu Goten" for over 380 years.

You can enjoy hot spring hopping in Higashi Yu (East),
which contains 5 baths such as Oishi Buro (large stone)
and Masu Buro (square shaped), and in Nishi Yu (West),
which consists of 6 baths like Aomori Hiba Buro (cypress) and Taru Buro (barrel shaped).
Enjoy seasonal Japanese cuisine made with Yonezawa beef
and other carefully selected ingredients from Yamagata,
and spend some relaxing time in a cozy Japanese-style room.

Unique baths, including ones sourced directly from a hot spring

Hot water is replaced in all baths every day, so you can fully enjoy clean and fresh baths.

You can enjoy 5 baths, including Japan's largest "Oishi Kurinuki Buro (hollowed out stone)" and "Gensen Masu Buro (square shaped and directly sourced from a hot spring)."

Nishi Yu
(West)

You can enjoy 6 baths, such as "Aomori Hiba Maruta Buro (cypress log)" and "Gensen Taru Buro(barrel shaped and directly sourced from a hot spring)".

From the Sendai area: About 45 minutes from Yamagata JCT on Tohoku Expressway to Nanyo Takahata IC via Tohoku-Chuo Expressway.

From the Tokyo area: About 2 hours and 30 minutes by Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa from JR Tokyo Station to JR Akayu Station.

Vegetarian meals: Vegetarian meals are available. Please request 3 days in advance.
(It is not possible to cook completely separately since the same cooking utensils are used in cooking regular meals.)

About bringing your own food and beverages: You can bring them with you (but not in the evening dining hall)

Check-in time: Check-in is between 15:00 and 19:00.
